Going into last night I had no idea what was about to happen.
I knew it was the first official service of the school year.
I knew what we had planned.
I knew how the service should play out.
I had no idea it’d mean so much.

God told me this year is the year of the impossible at Focus.
(It feels strange even typing that with such conviction, but it’s true.)
In Matthew 17:20 Jesus says it takes a just a little faith to move mountains.
But He also says that you have to speak to the mountain first.
Last night we let our faith speak to the mountains in our lives.

Our friends who are impossible to tell about Jesus.
Our schools where revival is impossible.
Our homes where it’s impossible to even find God.
Our personal lives where it’s impossible to let go of things.
The impossible is happening this year.

I gave our highschool students the chance to write down what impossible things they thought God wanted to do this year in their lives.
Then we put those impossible things into a container.
Some of the kids pulled me off to the side afterward to share what God was doing.
Some kids texted me later with amazing stories.
God started something last night at Focus.

I wish the Middle Schoolers would have been in there when we did this.
I wish those who were at home last night could have been there to take part in this.
Because I had no idea it was going to be as powerful as it was.
So next week I’m giving everyone a chance to get in on it.
Because God’s doing the impossible this year at Focus.

I’m ready to see what He has planned.
