Can I be honest? Sometimes ministry as a career seems more like just a career.

life in dog years
I lost a good friend last Saturday. His name was Reese. He belong to our family for 11 years; most of his life.
He was a pembroke welsh corgi.
For the past year, he’s lived with Lauren and me.
He was put to sleep while I was on vacation.
When I came home this weekend, I went to my parents house to see where he’d been burried. I began thinking about those 11 years we spent together....

Yesterday was Christmas in Alabama, as it is most everywhere else.
It also snowed. Not heavily. Just a very nice dusting really.

Things I learned at Catalyst 2010: Day One
- Chick-fil-a has their crap together, so you don’t have to.
